Refer and Get Paid

Know someone who needs work done?
Introduce them. Get paid.

Whoever introduces the work gets paid. You pass on the name. We put the quote together, present it and look after the job. When it is done and we have been paid, so are you.

Who It Is For

A network that works
both ways.

Linc Point runs on introductions. The network brings work to the trades in it, and partners bring work to us. Everyone who introduces a job gets looked after.

Everyday Referrers

Mates, family, neighbours. If someone you know needs work done at their place, pass on their name. That is all it takes.

Sales Associates

Independent sellers on commission who want a product that sells itself. Everyone knows someone with a roof, a fence or a gutter that needs sorting.

Professional Services

Real estate agents, property managers, insurance brokers, accountants, builders, and strata and body corporate managers. Your clients already ask you who to call.

Trade Partners

Tradies in the network who come across work outside their trade. Pass it on and earn a Network Referral Fee, paid within 7 days of Linc Point collecting its fee on that job. Not in the network yet? Join the trade network.

How It Works

Four steps.
Then you get paid.

01

Get it in writing

Before you refer anyone, we set out the rates and terms in a written referral agreement. No surprises later.

02

Make the introduction

Send us their name, contact details and what they need, in writing. The form below does it. We acknowledge and log every one.

03

We do the rest

We get in touch, scope the job, put the quote together, present it and follow it up. The right licensed local trade does the work.

04

You get paid

When the job is done and Linc Point has collected its fee, you are paid from what we collect. Everything is tracked, so there is no guessing what you are owed.

Three Ways To Earn

More involvement.
A bigger share.

Start with a name and a number. If you want to do more, you earn more.

Tier 1

Refer

Base share

Pass on the introduction. Their name, how to reach them and what they need. We take it from there.

Tier 2

Scope

Bigger share

Help capture what is needed: photos, measurements and the details of the job. A good scope means a quote that is right first time.

Tier 3

Close

Biggest share

For approved associates. Help get the job signed. Linc Point still puts the quote together and presents it, and you help carry it over the line.

The rates for each tier are set out in your written referral agreement, before you refer anyone.

Why It Works

You are not selling.
You are connecting.

Trust

People trust a recommendation. A name from someone they know carries more weight than any advert.

No Pitch

You do not need to know roofs, quotes or contracts. You put two people in touch and step back.

We Do The Work

We do the quoting, the presenting, the follow-up and the coordination. The right licensed local trade does the job.

The fine print, in plain words

  • Rates and terms are set out in a written referral agreement before you refer anyone.
  • Every referral is made in writing: their name, contact details and what they need. We acknowledge and log every one.
  • Linc Point gets paid on closed, collected work, not on enquiries, and referrers are paid from what we collect. If the job does not go ahead, there is nothing to pay.
  • No referral fee is paid if the person is already a Linc Point customer, is already in an active Linc Point quote, or came to us through another Linc Point agreement.
  • Agents, property managers, brokers, accountants, builders, and strata and body corporate managers may have disclosure obligations about referral payments. Check yours. We put everything in writing to make that easy.
Fair Questions

Straight answers.

When do I get paid?

Once the job is done and Linc Point has collected its fee. You are paid from what we collect. Trade partners earning a Network Referral Fee are paid within 7 days of Linc Point collecting its fee on that job. For everyone else, the timing is set out in your written referral agreement.

Do I need an ABN?

We will talk you through what you need, depending on how often you refer.

Can I refer my family?

Yes, as long as they are not already a Linc Point customer, are not already in an active Linc Point quote, and did not come to us through another Linc Point agreement.

What if the job does not go ahead?

Then there is nothing to pay, because we only get paid on completed, collected work.

Do I have to sell anything?

No. Passing on the introduction is enough. We do the quoting, the presenting, the follow-up and the coordination. If you want to do more, Scope pays a bigger share, and approved associates can earn more again at Close.

How do I know my referral was recorded?

Every referral is made in writing, with their name, contact details and what they need. We acknowledge and log every one, so you are on record as the referrer from day one.

I am an agent, broker or accountant. Can I take referral payments?

You may have disclosure obligations about referral payments in your line of work, so check yours. We put everything in writing to make that easy.
